The iso grips are actually just a little thicker than the stock grips... due to the rubber pieces. I have pretty small hands and the grips feel fine. I really don't know if you can go much skinnier than the stock grips though. I'd reccommend the iso's becuase it takes the "numbing" effect out when you go 70mph
