Wonder which genius designed that one! I always set my helmet on the shifter.... I mounted the helmet lock on the engine guards near the shifter. Always best to have that helmet down low, as close to the ground as possible. The helmet lock comes with some winged (weird little) screws (theft protection?), make sure wherever you are going to place the helmet lock, that's where you want it to stay, once you tighten up on those screws you can't get them back out, at least not with a screw driver.
