A trip to the hardware store got me going while I waited for the replacement parts. What's really exceptional here is the fairing is fully pre-wired. The halves have a rubber gasket and I've had no issues with rain. The wired remote is a priceless feature and the Pioneer stereo with Punch speakers is clear on local radio stations at 40-45% volume at 70mph (naturally not when excessively windy or high pitched music - in those cases you can make your ears bleed but still won't understand the words but that's not the stereo's fault!) Overall a good value and I would buy this fairing again.
