On Your Classic you need to remove the screw underneath your exsisting rubber heel pad...after that this part just clamps down over it all easily...also make sure the set screws on the new cover are backed out so that they are flush with the inside of the cover..you should not need to make any other adjustments..looks very nice.

Front edge of heel shift cover WILL HIT and catch the back edge of the Kury floorboard covers on a 900. You can adjust shifter linkage rod to raise the heel shifter a bit, or bend the heel shifter arm out away from the frame just a fuzz to get clearance.
