CLICK ON THE PICTURES THAT ARE BLURRY AND THEY WILL ENLARGE TO A CLEARER VERSION......."It's not WHAT you ride, It's THAT you ride"........and If you're out there puttin' it in the wind it DOESN'T MATTER what your on...'Nuff said........There aren't many 1300s out there that I see and when I do see one tricked out or not I get excited, this is a great bike! I welcome advice on ways to do things, I am new to the customizing world and this is all based on what I "feel", I'm learning all the time what I can and can't do by picking the brains of folks that have that special "know-how", to those that flowed the info many, many thanks. Okay Y'all....I'm back!! My bike is DONE! Custom forks. . Custom fenders(my Design)...and a whole buncha other stuff...BUT...I LOVE MY PAINT JOB!!! Danny Robledo and Brian Morgan at BKP Art in Easley SC are awesome!! Vance and Hines pipes give more power than any other pipes I know. I had to make a custom rear bracket though...no biggie.

You definitely need a stand to install these. Two long bolts top and bottom, the nuts come off fairly easy but because the bolts come in from the right side means you'll have to detach the coolant reservoir. If you find the bolt hard to budge just lower the bike until the back tire touches the ground, this takes pressure off the bolt and it slides right out. The end product was worth the frustration, that 2.5 inches changed the stance of this beast.

Only fit after I extended the holes outward left and right about an 1/8th of an inch, and just used the 2 top holes because I didn't feel like drilling a 3rd hole in my fender. The package says VTX but at the online store says it will fit a VStar 1300, probably going to go back to my earlier modified bracket and just use the top portion of the frame.

Jam up and jelly tight! These things scared the hell out of me when I cranked the engine. Installation time was about 2 hours. I went with these because of the overall length of the bike in the 1st place, to me longer pipes would overshadow those fantastic fenders lines, gives the bike a more "buff" look. Also just added a DM Air Spike filter and what a sight. Lovineveryminuteofit!

Its plug play claim holds true, took me about 20 minutes, after I did a system check I went to putting on my new exhaust. The ride home was like I bought a whole new bike.

You gotta get the longer bolts if your gonna run them thru the chrome fender strut, and watch out because the edges on the bolts will eat thru to the wire and ground out causing the #10 fuse to blow, then the wire on the left side totally came out. and theres this little nylon/plastic wire that runs inside the light housing itself that if you turn and twist the bezel around it will jack up the system to where you can;t get to the bulb when you need to.
