Nice mods i am looking to do similar with my 09. Does the license frame you used have a brake light or just turn signals and running lights? It would be great if all three came in the same package.

Couple questions: did the striping extend under the stock seat or did you have to get a decal or custom paint work done to complete the stripe? also is the solo seat as easy as just taking off the stock seat and sliding the solo into place?

Swepts work because they flow with the curve of the bike. I like these--218322 ,RAD III TEARDROP; 216657, RAD II BLACK TEARDROP, not sure if I want black since my bars aren't. Wait till winter/Mar for the work--I missed a good riding month last year and it was killing me! May want to do the tire and lowering at the same time 'cause you may not like the look and I think they adjust spacing based on the wheel.

My mechanical skills are non-existent so I rely on AP to do all my work. They've done great work and I haven't had any problems with workmanship or performance. I think the prices are comparable ($65/hr) and they don't try to get you to buy things you don't need. I was looking at different pipes that were more expensive than the sweptst--Joel helped me see the light. Once I got the swepts on, I saw exactly what he was saying! They've been in business for years and bikes are their passion...

Thanks Tim! I like what you did with yours! I'll drop a line if I'm in the neighborhood--you do the same if you're back this way. 1st Sat of the month me & a few folks ride across Surry, Tappahanock, etc--a few hours, some grub and 80 -100+ miles...Gotta love it!!! Safe ridin'!

I lived in Hpt for years, now in Richmond. If you ever find yourself up this way on your Custom drop me a line and we'll ride. Bike looks great.
