With the Granucci seat, the EFI controller and all the LED wiring under the seat, there was very little room for the alarm anywhere on this bike. I mounted it behind the side cover on the pulley side--but even then, it's a tight fit. Other than that, it works great!

Heavy duty construction and very simple installation. Very convenient for switching from road trips to cruising. Note that the OEM plastic chrome fender trim that wraps around the fender support is replaced with a metal chrome plate that doesn't wrap around. It's a better quality piece, and explains some of the seemingly high cost. Although not as stylish as some other backrests, it's a very good product and is super functional. Highly recommend.

While this part really cleans up the area in front of the tank (cables run underneath, showing only chrome), it's plastic. And the front edges are bumped by the bolts for the turn signals, leaving rather unsightly grooves in the soft plastic (short of moving my turn signals up, I'm not sure there's much to do about that). Overall, it looks good, but I'm not real impressed with the material or the fit.
